Forumer Hi.
Occasionally when i am browsing through the forum, suddently a new page opens up saying register to forumer now. But now it happens more and more, and i cant even go to links page without that stupid forumer shit popping up and closing grimdepot down.
Someoçe else has it and/or knows a solution?

Weird...I have not experienced this, or anything like this, at all. Hope ya get it solved soon, man.

Sometimes I just can't enter the page for a day, and it's really mocking, but nothing about registering to forumer.

Never had such a problem.. the only thing that may occur sometimes is the page just won't load for a reason, but as soon as I refresh the page, everything goes fine

So it's logging you out basically? What web browser are you using?
Tomgoroth- 08-18-2008
I think I know what your problem is.
I had the same thing when browsing the forum at the office.
I will try to explain it to you:
At the time we were using two Internet connections, at the office, which were configured to load balance. This means that the Internet traffic was divided over both lines.
Which means that the PC I used to browse the forum was using both Internet connections, so it was using two IP addresses to connect from/authenticate with. Forumer somehow doesn't understand that the traffic sent from both adresses is from the same PC and so is from the same logon session. So each time the traffic switched IP address I was logged out.
Now we are using one Internet connection (and therefore one IP address) and I don't get kicked out of my logon session anymore.
I guess this is a bug/problem of Forumer and not specificly of the Grimdepot.
I hope you understand what I mean.
Since English isn't my native language (I'm from the Netherlands) and I'm working in the IT business so I tend to use professional language now and then, without noticing.
Could this situation also be the case for you?
Perhaps it's not exactly the same, but perhaps there's another way that your router/modem changes it's IP address constantly?

Well i log on too this site with 2 different computers. Could that be the problem?
If u cant explain in english, then say it in dutch. I speak the same language.
When it could be the case, i basically could solve the problem by loggin in under another name maybe?
Ty, this really helped me!

eiger,
The number of computers from which u access the depot doesn't matter as long as its from one IP. Your account gets logged out as soon as the IP tagged to your account changes. I've faced this problem a number of times when I had a faulty connection.
Try using one IP and you shouldn't face this problem.

I second this.
It's no problem to access/logon to the Grimdepot from more than one PC.
I also do this from both the office and my home PC.
But this can't be done at the same time.
When I'm logged in at home and log on at the office the logon session at my home PC will be closed.

I sure am doing my best to perfect it :)!
As I said I'm working in the IT business and that basically means (at least here in the Netherlands) everything is in English.
Also it means that I communicate with people in English a lot.
