Just saw the DETHTOUR in Cleveland. Soilent Green put on a good show, but their style + one guitarist = ridiculously overpowering muddy tone. Couldn't make out shit. Chimaira actually earned my respect. I used to HATE them, but seeing them go fucking crazy at a hometown show made me respect them. And after a couple spins, I guess their new album wasn't as bad as I once thought. :shock: Dethklok was awesome. The show was sold out, mainly with just total idiots, but it was a cool set-up. It wasn't what I'd call the "best" show I've ever seen, by far, but it was definitely a fun time.

I watched some footage of a few shows on Youtube and it looked pretty fun. I'm curious though how many non-metal heads are showing up to these shows, it seems since the show started to get popular a lot of non-metal listeners have become interested in the music. A few months ago I had hung out with a bunch of my cousins and they were all talking about Dethklok and metal and to my knowledge I'm the only metal head in the family so it was kind of odd to see :lol:

Craziest show ever: Behemoth @ Metal Camp 08. Those who were there will agree with me. At 5 minutes in their set, the sky turned pitch black, heavy storms gathered and strong winds almost tore down the stage, but they kept playing. Frontstage crew had to cover up the monitors and the amps. Without success, cause after 20 minutes the amps blew up - the stage was flooded. Can't get more cult than this. Awesome show.

Well I can say one thing, Dragonforce concerts suck :lol:

just saw cryptopsy and origin with the last felony, who were pretty good. while im not realy a fan of the new cryptopsy they were still realy good live, and they played a couple of old songs like slit your guts, and the new singer did a decent job. origin blew me away though, probably one of the best live performances ive seen
