** What Albums Are You Anticipating in '08 ? ** As the title suggests... off the top of my head, the new Necrophagist, new Arsis and new Dragonforce.

I'm curious about the new Metallica album, if it's at least better than St. Anger I'll be a little happy :) I also can't wait for the new Necrophagist, Opeth, In Flames, and Rammstein albums
Tomgoroth- 12-22-2007
As allready mentioned Metallica, Arsis, Opeth and the following albums:
Behexen - Hammer Of Hate
Benediction - Killing Music
Death Angel - Killing Season
From A Second Story Window - Conversations
Gorerotted - Get Dead Or Die Trying
Heidevolk - Walhalla Wacht
Ikuinen Kaamos - Epilogue
Keep Of Kalessin - Kolossus
Kataklysm - Prevail
The Monolith Deathcult - Triumvirate
As you can see, I've already created quite a list.
Born2Lose- 12-22-2007
Arsis, Skyfire, Kalmah, COB, In Flames, Opeth, Katatonia, Wintersun, War Of Ages, The Human Abstract, Scar Symmetry, Kataklysm, and alot more, just can't think of them right now. 2008 is going to be a great year for music.

Wow, you fuckin nailed almost all of my picks! I know and have done design work for War Of Ages (they're from my hometown) and their drummer said to expect tons of "80's-metal style riffs" to pop up in the new disc... so that'll be cool. They're all really nice guys, so it's good to see them out with Soilwork now (maybe they can introduce me so I can do some designs for the Swedes).
In Flames tops my list (/fanboy), and pretty much everything else Born2Lose said, honestly. New COB should be better than the last album (though I enjoyed that, too), Arsis is quickly gaining ground as one of my favorite bands around so I know they'll deliver, and you really can't go wrong with the others.
I'm also hoping to hear full-length releases from Cipher System (who've written 5 new tracks) and their pop-metal side project, Dead By April. SmaXone should FINALLY come out in 2008, Threat Signal is also high on my list, and Into Eternity is also looking to be on track for the upcoming year.
The Haunted would be nice to hear if they can bang one out, and Mnemic might sneak one out before year's end, but I won't hold my breath.

Damn that's awesome, i love War Of Ages. They are by far one of my favorite bands. I was really excited to see them touring with Soilwork, because now they are finally going to come to Utah.
I had no idea Cipher System was writing a new album. Central Tunnel 8 was an amazing album, and i can't wait to hear some new material. I also completely forgot Into Eternity had started working on a new album. The Scattering Of Ashes blew me away, i absolutely love Tim Roth's guitar work.
By the way, one band i forgot to mention is Helltrain. They may not be the most talented, but they are catchy as fuck.

2008 is going to own souls.
DrThrash- 12-23-2007
Can't wait for the Death Angel album and Warbringer's 'War Without End'
2008 should be a pretty damn good year for death metal considering 2007 wasn't anything compared to 2006. New Deicide, Grave, Cannibal Corpse, Necrophagist, Deeds of Flesh, Arsis, Decrepit Birth, Origin, Brain Drill, Cryptopsy, Wormed, I mean, the list goes on.

DjNeo- 12-28-2007
Heard 2 news songs from Neuraxis, it will be something and now the band is on Prosthetic, check them - I'm sure they will start a buzz,
I'm looking foward to hear the new TESTAMENT and AUGURY from Montreal. It would be cool to hear new stuff from ATG and CARCASS but I doubt the guys will do news songs since they might have to re-learn their songs for this summer.
