Which country's Metal Scene is your fav ?

Which country's Metal Scene is your fav ?
Poland for me hands down, insane bands, tight as cunt and always creative and innovative. Polish Death Metal is on my playlist everyday without an exception, what about u guys ? Inclined to any particular country's metal scene ? I wanted to make a poll, but it would be meaningless putting in some 50 options.

Sweden. Home of brilliant melodeath and death metal bands.

lol was hoping to be the first to say poland, but asshole beat me to the punch :P Yeah poland has to have one of the best, UK has a good one too. America is ehh now, but im still gonna stick with america

I'm partial to Poland because I'm half Polish. :P Vader and Decap are on constant play for me. I also love Sweden because their technicality seems to be un-matched. And California, US is pretty damn good right now, don't know about the rest of the cuntry.

Well, I'm from Spain and I don't really like the "Mediterranean Scene" the Spanish, Italian, Portuguese... too many power metal, speed, there are some real good bands around, but I hate the Saratoga, Rhapsody of Fire and Warcry imitators. Polish metal Scene is real great, with behemoth and Vader leading my top. I do really love Poland, and I hope to go there next year. American scene is very different depending on the states or zones, it has some real good stuff, but too many crap. Scandinavia and Finland have the best old school extreme metal bands, but nowadays there is just Melodic Death, and the only band I really enjoy of that style is Children of Bodom.

Your right about the states in america, certain states pop out only one type of genre really. and alot of them dont produce shit at all.

What about germany? I know some classic metal bands have come from Deutchsland, but day today, is there really something worthy? (I hate classic german metal bands like Gamma Ray, Helloween or Blind Guardian but I recognize they are quite important.) :lol:

Origin, Deicide, Anthrax, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Suffocation, Summon, Death, possessed, Morbid Angel, and i guess ill put Cannibal corpse in here cus they where good with their first couple of releases, those are all american. yeah, no one is gonna mention america. im not discredeting any other country, but america has made it stamp on metal.
